4110DL user code

New home, owners gave me two four digit numbers to try for the arming code but neither work. The control indicates ready and will go off if I press * # after powering up the alarm goes off and can be silenced by pressing the address (house) or 6767. Can I get into this system to assign a new user code...

Chime function doesn't work.....

My alarm system hasn't been armed in many, many years but the chime function has always worked to where any time a door or window was opened you would hear some beeps. We lost power for a day and a half and ever since then it has not worked. I have changed the back up battery and the "BAT" still shows up on the keypad. It also says "AC" right above it which means it is getting power. It also says "Ready" and I have done exactly what the manual says to do and it won't work. What the manual does say is if "BAT" is on the keypad then I need to call some type of service. The problem is no one wants to help b/c we don't, nor do we plan to, activate the alarm and monitoring. Any help or suggestions? I appreciate your time in advance....
