Canon MP600 All-in-one printer. 18 months old. Message says "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it. Try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognise it, replace the device." I have tried using different USB ports, replacing the connecting lead, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver (twice). I have also tried installing and connecting to a different laptop with the same result. The printer still scans and copies all right as a stand-alone. As the Canon MP600 costs nearly £100 to glibly say "replace the device" after 18 months is beyond consideration. Does this fault mean a return to Canon or repair shop at a cost almost as much as a new machine?...

the mp600 is know in chinese ! i don't get a word...i make as it is said in the manual ( home, screwdriver, ok, the 2 lines on the left) but it seems i just have the choice between different asiatic language.
where can i get other choice ??...

Printer sudden;y displayed the above message evn though had been working prior. Can't seem to resolve. Took out Print head to examine but nothing obvious. Any suggestions to resolve? Many thanks...

we have printed before and now it will not print. it is showing an error "check connections". we have disconnected everything and connected it, turned it off and back on. any suggestions?...
