Changing the battery

My First Alert keypad has been alarming a continuous beeping sound for about 2 hours not. The keypad says Batt. It has happened a few times over the last month and after about 4-5 minutes and puching in my code off and on...it stops. Tonight it has been going for over 2 hours...Ic Can silence it but then it will start right back up again. We have not had the system monitored in about 10 years. Where is the battery located and how do I change it. My manual just says to "change the battery"...doesn't ggive any more details. Thanks...
