Adjust degrees before aux heat activated??

When I manually adjust the heat setting up more than a degree, the gas heat turns on rather than the heat pump (and it's ~55 deg outside, so shouldn't switch to aux automatically). There are a few customizable features documented in manual, but I see other settings when I keep scrolling that aren't documented. Is one of the undocumented programmable features a way to adjust the number of degrees before aux heat activated?...
